1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of generatequick.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
We may update these terms from time to time and will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Site after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Who we are
GenerateQuick ("we", "us", "our") operates the Site and provides the tools described below. You can reach us via the contact form.
3. What we provide
The Site provides a collection of free tools including QR code generation, barcode generation, PDF merging, image compression, favicon creation, invoice generation, random number generation, APA and MLA citation generation, meme creation, and AI-powered color palette generation. Most tools run entirely in your browser. The Color Palette Generator's AI Generate feature processes your input via our server and the Groq API (see Section 8). All tools are free to use and require no account or registration.
We may add, change, suspend, or remove any tool or feature at any time. We do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability of the Site or any specific tool.
4. Acceptable use
You must be at least 13 years old to use this Site. By using the Site you confirm you meet this requirement.
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its underlying infrastructure;
- send automated requests that impair or overload the normal operation of the Site;
- use the Site to process or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringes any third party's rights.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Site - including text, design, graphics, logos, and code - is owned by or licensed to GenerateQuick and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent.
Files and outputs you generate using our tools (QR codes, barcodes, compressed images, merged PDFs, favicons, invoices, citations, memes, color palettes, and so on) belong to you. We make no claim over them. Hex color codes are not copyrightable; you are free to use any generated palette for personal or commercial purposes.
6. No warranties
The Site and all tools are provided "as is" and "as available". We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Site or any tool.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under UK law that cannot be excluded or limited.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you for any loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Site.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
8. Third-party services
The Site is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH. The barcode generator loads a JavaScript library from the jsDelivr content delivery network. The Meme Generator fetches template data from the imgflip.com and memegen.link APIs; when you use that tool your browser makes direct requests to those services. The Color Palette Generator's AI Generate feature sends your description text to the Groq Inc. API via our server in order to generate a palette; we do not store the description after the API call completes. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of these third parties.
The Site may also contain links to external websites. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
9. Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Force majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in making the Site available where that failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet or hosting outages, acts of government, or natural events.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. General
Severability. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements.
