There is no hard limit on the number of files. The practical ceiling depends on your device's available memory. Most modern computers handle dozens of PDFs without any problem.
Will the merged PDF preserve bookmarks and form fields?
Page content, images, text, and layout are fully preserved. Bookmarks (outlines) and interactive form fields may not carry over to the merged document, depending on the complexity of the source files.
