Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website owner. This policy explains how GenerateQuick ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on generatequick.com (the "Site").
Our use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
2. The cookies we use
We use only strictly necessary cookies. These are essential for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They do not track you, store personal information, or share anything with third parties for marketing purposes.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| .AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* | Protects our contact form against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. Required for secure form submissions. | Session (deleted when you close your browser) | Strictly Necessary |
Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, we are not legally required under PECR to display a cookie consent banner. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under Regulation 6(4) PECR.
3. What we do not use
We do not use any of the following:
- Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics)
- Advertising or targeting cookies
- Social media tracking pixels
- Performance or preference cookies set by us
- Any cookie that tracks you across third-party websites
4. Local storage
Some of our tools save your last-used settings to your browser's localStorage (for example, the barcode format you last selected). This is stored entirely on your own device and is never transmitted to us or any third party. It is not a cookie; it has no expiry date and persists until you clear your browser's site data.
You can delete localStorage data at any time via your browser settings (usually under "Clear site data" or "Clear browsing data").
5. Third-party content delivery
When you use our Barcode Generator, your browser loads a JavaScript library from jsDelivr (a content delivery network operated by Prospect One sp. z o.o., Poland). This is a technical dependency required for the tool to function. As with any CDN request, jsDelivr's servers will receive your IP address as standard network traffic. jsDelivr may set its own cookies or cache headers; please refer to their Privacy Policy for details. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, cookies set by jsDelivr.
When you use the Meme Generator, your browser makes API requests to imgflip.com and memegen.link to load the list of available meme templates. These requests originate directly from your browser. As with any HTTP request, your IP address is disclosed to those services. Please refer to imgflip's and memegen.link's respective privacy policies for details on how they handle this data. We have no control over those requests or any data those services may collect.
All other tool functionality on the Site runs locally in your browser with no third-party network requests.
6. Managing and deleting cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies from being set
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser
Please note that blocking or deleting the strictly necessary CSRF cookie may prevent our contact form from working correctly, as it is a security requirement. All other Site functionality will continue to work normally.

7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we introduce new tools that require different technology. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if the changes are significant, we will add a notice on the Site.
8. Contact us
If you have any questions about how we use cookies, please use our contact form. We aim to respond within one month.
